We can see Eilean Glas Lighthouse from Donnie's Tablet Shed here in the Isle of Skye.  There is something very reassuring seeing it blinking away in the distance in the darkest of nights.  Hopefully you will be able to visit it too in Scalpay - or see it from the shed here if you are visiting Skye.

Founded in 1815 on the water on the Islay's south coast Liana was trying to capture the history and spirit of Scotland. An incredibly beautiful spot and great to draw.

We enjoyed a lovely visit to the distillery when we stayed in Islay.  The distillery is on the Three Distilleries walking/cycling route where you can visit Lagavulin, Laphroaig and Ardbeg on foot from Port Ellen!  The perfect stagger!  We sat outside beside the loch tasting Laphroaig's 10 year old collection, along with cheese and oatcakes.  The perfect afternoon with superb staff!

Another beautiful Distillery on Islay, Scotland. 

Liana was trying to capture the beauty and energy of Scotland's Islay coastline with this Lagavulin Distillery art print. Depicting rolling hills, smooth waves and the beautiful white washed distillery.

Scapa Distillery, nestled on the shore of Orkney.  Liana was trying to capture the unique character of Scotland's land and sea for a Distillery setting that is unlike any other. Liana drew this looking over on a wild day. 

We visited last year and it's a stunning setting.  Be sure to book any tours in advance as you can't really just turn up.
